Do you know a local hero, it could be a teacher, a volunteer or just someone who’s done something special for their community!
Please use the following form to nominate an unsung hero in the local community who you think QPR should recognise at Community Day on 10 March!
This year’s QPR Community Day will be on Saturday 10 March, at our home game against Sunderland, 3pm kick off. Community Day is run by the club to celebrate the local area, including recognising a small number of unsung heroes in the community before the game. They could be teachers, carers, nurses, or anyone who is putting themselves at the service of others and you think deserves recognition. The unsung heroes could be connected to the club either because they are QPR fans or because the community they serve is local to the club here in West London. Here is an example of last year’s winners https://www.lbhf.gov.uk/articles/news/2017/04/qpr-honours-unsung-heroes-their-volunteer-work
Nominations close on 9 February so please do get yours in now! Attached is a poster advertising the day, which you are very welcome to use at the community centre if you wish.
We are also running a local residents ticket offer for that game, £5 for adults and £1 for children. To book tickets under the special offer, people need to call the Box Office on 08444 777 007, select option 2 and quote ‘GB Scheme 2018’. Tickets are subject to availability and must be purchased prior to matchday.
